SocraticDialogue.com is looking for suitable locations to hold these entertaining and habit-forming events once or twice a week in the evenings from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Restaurants, Coffee Houses, Art Galleries, Furniture Stores, or any attractive location with sufficient space. A two and 1/2 hour window is required for setup, discussion, and break down. There are two 10 minute breaks.

Comfortable chairs arranged in a semi-to-half circle is the ideal layout. In the case of restaurants, refreshments are purchased from the house at break times, the bringing of refreshments by participants is discouraged.

There is a $20 fee to participants for each two hour conversation. The maximum number of participants is 20. Most SocraticDialogue.com events are 5 to 15 participants. The facilitator is trained to handle nearly any situation that comes up. Most proprietors find that SocraticDialogue.com participants are among their most well-behaved and profitable patrons. Many will return again and again for other engagements, once they have established a good feeling for a location.

Most proprietors don't charge SocraticDialogue.com for rental of the space, unless there will be special activities, such as a large group or a longer than normal session. SocraticDialogue.com welcomes revenue sharing proposals in those rare cases where the venue is especially suitable, attractive, or there are opportunities for multiple events per week, or where special laws or insurance requirements apply.

Of course, we are simply guests and will make every effort to abide by special requirements, rules, or guidelines set out by a location owner.
